Reiki is an energetic healing system from .  It is used to reduce stress, and also promotes healing.  It is practiced by laying on hands and is based on the premise that an unseen life force energy flows through us and every other living thing in the universe. The word Reiki is made up of two Japanese words – rei, which means “god’s wisdom or higher power” and ki which means “life force energy.”  So Reiki can be referred to as spiritually guided life force energy.  

A session feels like you are receiving a wonderful glowing energy that flows through and around you.  Reiki affects the whole person including the body, emotions, mind, and spirit.  A session creates many beneficial effects that include relaxation, feelings of peace and tranquility and a sense of well-being.  Many people have reported miraculous healing results.
